Lol, I almost lost my temper, I've fought with him before (Like, a real fight). But its all over now, weight has been lifted off my shoulder and soon a 2nd Dual Core machine will be waiting for me.

If he toasted the chip you sold him by not putting any paste on it, who's to say he won't do the same with yours? Then you're really screwed. I know you already decided to not let him use it, which was an extremely smart decision.

I don't trust any of my friends using my computer parts.

To be honest, I would have ended it on the first call. Your bought it, you broke it, read the booklet that came with it, it will tell you who to contact (and that you should apply TIM).

What a dork that kid is. Sorry to hear of you having to put up with a situation like that.

How am I supposed to take this back. He didnt even have the decency to put the plastic holder back in, nor the black CPU protector nor the book. I've had to take everything out of my E2200's box now. I'm so pissed off now at this moment of typing this.
I cant believe you accepted it back! If it were me and that person had the balls to get his money back, I'd take it , keep the money, and make his nose meet his forehead. Why would you even accept it!

Haha, 4.5v Core, I could just sit and stare out the window as I see the Explosion followed by a Beautilful Intel Logo'ed Mushroom Cloud.

Yeah, my dad has never liked that guy so I think he just did it to get it over and done with, once its replaced I'll be building it into a machine for my dad.

Lol, if I buy a CPU from Newegg, and install it incorrectly, it's not Newegg's fault that I broke it and that I didn't receive documentation (and you actually did tell him how to do it).

Anyway, on the back of Intel's CPU boxes it says in like every language known to man, "This processor is intended to be professionally installed." Since he's obviously not a professional, it's his fault for not getting someone who knows how to set a CPU correctly to help him. 12 different languages (including the four asian-ish languages on the bottom of the box).
