I realise that I am citing fud, which is inherently a bad idea but this article says that it does support Tri SLI and it was based on seeing it at cebit. It also says 768MiB of memory which I thought was a bit weird but you never know as they did it with the 8800 GTX

I would expect it to support Tri SLI regardless of this article. nVidia simply wants to ship Tri SLI on its highest cards of each series so it would make a lot more sense to give the 9800 GTX Tri SLI than Dual SLI.

Can you link to the nVidia announcement that says it does not please?
