P35-DS3 bios F12 screwed my fans

Hey all.. i'm having some issues with my motherboard. After i appliad the latest Gigabyte Bios update i've noticed that the fans are going crazy in my case. After i checked the RPM it was on 1800RPM. I've tried to change it with SpeedFan and EasyTune5 but with no luck. After a little research i found that its some sort of bug in the latest bios and i need to change in my bios the Fan controller to PWM or VOLT. PWM didn't made much diffrence but volt seemed to do the trick and now i'm able to change the RPM speed from a 3rd party software.
Still, something doesn't feel right. I can hear allot of RPM picks from my case and I'm not sure on how much RPMs my system should get. Right now my cpu gets 600RPM on rest and 2000RPM max if i open prime or super-pi.
Any one notice it with that motherboard?
How much RPM my cpu should be getting anyway on rest?

P.s: Is there a specific thread to the plain P35-DS3 ?

thanks
My system
