Good luck buddy
think3r i hav added some CPU Screen Shots for your convenience . .

Jamy, I apologize for the late response.

Currently you are 36Mhz overclocked with your memory which is certainly not bad at all but is probably prohibiting your processor from overclocking any further. Have you tried placing your memory on a divider? That should lower the frequency and give you some more overclocking room.. The sub-timings are fine and can probably be adjusted later on for optimal performance.

Let us know if that helps

Good luck

holy crap the topic starter has the exact same setup pretty much as me when i got my first pci-e based amd 64. that a8n-e is a solid board, i have 2 amd 64's here running on that board and one opty running on a dfi lanparty UT modded to a sli version. if you got a good enough cooler it should be as simple as setting your HT to 3x, bump the FSB up 300, voltage to 1.55 and the ram divider set to 266mhz. both my of my venice chips have been running with those settings for about 2 years now without a hitch.

Yes U r right Mr.Einstein Condensate. I was running ma old Athlon64 venice with 300FSB with its stock cooler. Even tho temp raised a bit high , it was still stable. I lik that proccy... But 4 now i dont have much chance 2 push it . . even with an after market coooler. Thatz Destiny lol

Well think3r, i had to set ma RAM on a divider where it was not stable with its previous 36Mhz overclocks. Now its at 333Mhz on BIOS. Also some changes in the timing. Plz see the CPUZ screen shot below :-

Tested that RAM with orthos for around 20 hours without any errors or warnings. For Now Vdimm is @ 2.75V and Vcore is @ 1.4875V

think3r , is there a way to Push Further...?????

ya i found the whole line of x2 chips for the 939 platform to be poor overclockers. My opty 165 on the other hand did 375 x 8 and loved it.

You must have only been looking at Manchester cored X2's then. The Toledo core X2's are exactly the same as the Opteron counterparts.

But Mr.Pioneerisloud.., then Y am i not able to push further eventho i hav a toledo X2 Dual core Chip..???? Bcoz now iam able 2 get only 2574Mhz from a 2200Mhz Chip. [FSB=234 x 11= 2574Mhz] [HT=234 x 3=702 Mhz] [RAM= CPU/14 = 183Mhz @ 2.5-3-37] . Thatz all i can get from it ...?????

Jamy, you simply might also be at the limit of the processor. Not all processors are capable of the same overclock so there is a bit of frustration there. Have you tried a command rate (CR) of 2T instead of 1T? Have you ran stability tests at 2574Mhz? You could also change the HT multiplier from 3x (702Mhz) to 4x (936Mhz). I have found that any HT speed nearing 700Mhz can cause some instability.

Let us know

Good luck
