With Nero, I only have to double click the ISO file itself. Nero then opens and automatically burns the ISO file to disk.

nero can do it, as well as cdburnerxp, imgburn and a lot of other free programs. just select the option to "burn ISO" or "Copy image to cd" something like that

uninstall it :-P.... Ever run a computer with Nortan and Nero?... neither have I... no one has... because at that point it's so mangled it's not even a computer anymore...

On a more serious note, unless you're as crazy as me just use Nero...

try imgburn, its a good free iso burner. OR, try writing it at a slower speed, using max can sometimes mess it up and make the disc "unbootable", i've had this happen a couple of times.

No, no, no, no! Do not burn a data disk! You need to select "burn image to disk." They are not the same thing.

If your version of Nero doesn't have this, download IMGburn or something.

Thanks guys, I'll try these when I get home (on campus right now) and let you know how it goes. Fwiw, I like Nero, never had a problem for me. *shrugs*
