Question about 90° Elbow Fittings ?

Thread Starter
I placed my reservoir at the very top of the 5.25 bays.
My reservoir inlet and outlet tubes are kinked really bad. They are almost blocked.

I am going to order elbows but there are 2 types in the website :

1-F-G14-12-ELBOW-BK
2-F-N14-12-ELBOW-BK

I don't want to order the wrong fittings because this is kind of emergency.
Any help would be appriciated.

Thanks...

Stay away from elbows if you can... They will be restrictive in your loop.
Better to just use some smartcoils to keep the tubing from kinking.

What by-tor said.

Elbow fittings aren't the greatest choice because they can cause restriction in the loop.
Besides, not only do the smart coils look amazing, they work miracles!

Yea, i was thinking about supporting the tubes somehow and came up with the key chain ring idea

Expand it... Get the tube thru the 2 x 3/4 circles
It worked...

That would be better than getting 90 degree fittings

Supporting your loop with springs/zip ties, or some other form of anti-kink mechanism is better than a right angle fitting.

From what I understand, right angle fittings have a noticeable impact on flow rate, because your pump is having to work harder to pump coolant through turns and sharp angles.

Even a sharp, supported turn is better than a right angle fitting. I'd use them only as a last possible resort.
