New to OCing need help

I would like to know how to oc my rig from cpu,gpu,ram. I am a newbie at this and I have had alot of different stories on how to do this all the way from my rig can not be over clocked. Please can somebody help me.

If you have a brand-name computer, nothing can be done, if you built it yourself then you can overclock the CPU and RAM through the BIOS. If you want to overclock your GPU, you have to download nTune, or CCC, or something like that.
