anyone here using the 8800GTS 512 (G92) in SLI having issues playing EQ2? my friend is reporting that his fps are between 10-15 when playing EQ2.

The upgrade will be enormous. And the stock cooler on the g92 does very well, no real need for an aftermarket cooler.

I have a case recommendation for you ...

I've done many builds using this case, and for the money, it is FANTASTIC. I have frankly never understood why they sell it so cheap, it's as nice as most cases that cost twice as much. It's a perfect 'Dad' kinda case, too...

Also, I agree, at the moment, the E6xxx series is kinda outdated. You can get an e8400 for not much more than the price of an e6600 (if you can still find one), and the 8400 kicks it's butt in every sense.
