I didn't even fire my board up yet, so I can't be much help as of now. I'll try to get it running by like wed, as I'm waiting on on new tubing for the loop. Looking good so far tho guys.

Strange thing is, cause I'm such a n00b, I can get over about 2 hours of Lg FFFts and then it with out error it just restarts. It seems to do this at most any speed above about 3600.

I'm trying a jump to the low mid 3700ish range... the 3782 OC reset after a little more than 2 hours. Whats with this two hour curse anyway

Currently 3717 (9x413)
Its at 1.520 on the NB, SB up 1 notch to 1.64, reported vcore 1.488 @ idle and 1.440 @ full, with full load temps in the mid 60c range with a TRUE and a POS fan... got to steal a better fan from one of the other boxes!

If it resets on time, I'll report back just after 11:00

I had similar problems with the p35. Everything was fine, and boom, restart. I never really figured it out, but the problem was over 3.8 only. Maybe it needed more vcore.

On another note, here is my 100% mathcing rig. Even the tracers are black/yellow/orange

and one to prove I'm actually working on it.

Sometimes it even did that in the 3500ish range to, go figure!
I have 31min on the 37i7 OC, I figure it will reset in about an hour and a half

Does look sweet
BTW a 40mm fits on the SB real nice if your not getting anything else for it.

Hey, are those empty hulls for fan spacers?

:swearing:

2 minutes short of two hours and it reboots again!

What the heck is with this 2 Hour P95 stress test and a reboot after two hours It was not overheating and no error, just a reboot, all on its own!
This has been a constant for the last day of OCing now.

The Duke, what about trying to fold with it for a stress test?

Well, if can fold and not screw up the WUs at the OCs I've attained for two hours I'm good to go at 3800MHz! 9x420 @ 1.504v and the two hour thing hit... as I said with that OC and many othe5rs, go figure!
The 1.504v did hit the high 60 range though, my fan sucks or blows I'll address that tomorrow.
The current 3717 is at 1.440 under load and 1.474 actual and now showing a mid 60 range at full load. Heck it even did it when the temps were in the mid 50c range, again, go figure!

Duke are going for max CPU speed or FSB? I can tell you my BIOS settings I have to get to 500fsb. Actually I will try and just take pics of each screen so you can see. I know that our CPU are different but not that much different. We do have different RAM you should still be able to get an idea. This BIOS was a nightmare for me but I don't know how you feel about. But I really had no clue what I was doing at first while poking around. I was worried that I would brake something but all is well.

Duke, what kind of reboot is it; Does it go through the windows logging off thing, or is it as if you hit the reset? Just wondering, as my reboots were like hard resets. It was very annoying to say the least, so I feel your pain.

Thanks man. I'm not getting any after market cooling for the SB, so I'll look into the fan. I never really checked the temp of my p35, but I don't think it was getting very hot.

Btw those are empty fan hulls spacing the rad fans. Only 25mm thick but that was the biggest it was going to get. If you still need fans, I believe I have a Antec Adjustable Tricool that I can hook you up with. It pushes about 80cfm on high. Let me know if you need it.

Villainstone, I would really like to see those screens too. I had a very hard time getting past 480 on my p35. Any little thing will help with getting this thing online.
TBD..

Currently I'm working the 9x aspect, perhaps later I'll get into the 8x.

Its like someone hits the reset button but upon reboot XP never coughs up the improper shut down.

Currently 413x9=3717, Lg FTTs 2 hours and you know the story.
Anyway, on the small FTT test, its been 12 1/2 hours and I did up the "Clock Generator" voltage 1 notch to 3.60v
I've had 422x9=3798 with 1.504 vcore and the Clock Gen at default with a 2 hour Lg FTT pass so I'm going to give that a run later with the 1.504v vcore and the current Clock Gen bump.

The below SS, that was SuperPI @15.719s with Orthos running Its about 13ish seconds running solo.
