How did we rule out that the problem isn't RAM? Have you tried other RAM or tried this RAM one stick at a time?

well everything works part from games, which work for a min. plus vistas already using up 500mb of ram. how do i disable the built in graphics, it wont give me an option for that in the bios. maybe thats the problem.

cud be ram tho. ill try that next.

oh yeh and pc just restarted for the 1st every just now even though i was not playing a game

checked ram using windows memory diagnostic tool. Came back with no problems detected, and ran 100% to completion

Are you sure you're saving your bios settings when restarting?

Try turning of SpeedStep in bios and see what that does for *****s and grins.
