You may want to reread your contract with your isp because if it written like the one my isp has, it will state that you are not allowed to use your connection for illegal purposes. So if a person is using bittorrent to download songs, games, or programs that are illegal they have every right to throttle their connection. Comcast picked bittorent because that is the program that most of the thieves are using right now, so if people are going to raise cain about Comcast raise cain about the thieves who brought this about.
They are the ones who are screwing over all the people who use bittorrent legal purposes. We have people in this forum who brag about how they steal everything off the net if they lost their connection because of this I would have one good laugh about it because they got what they deserved.

If your pirating is screwing up my bandwidth then your usage should be throttled. The fact that Comcast lied about it being done is the only thing they should be punished for.
That's an idiotic statement. It was NOT messing with your bandwidth, and a lot of P2P is not illegal.

Burn in hell comcast.
