Possible problems with HD 2600XT?

Thread Starter
Alright, this is sorta a continuation of the last thread I started about my new 2600XT 512 (Visiontek AGP version). After trying an awful lot of different drivers, I finally figured out which ones were correct. So, almost all of my games work perfectly, without a hitch. However, the one game I'm having trouble with at the moment is Fable: The Lost Chapters. I've tried different video settings, and every time windows would BSOD and reboot. Well, I finally told it to just stop and then went and tested every graphics setting until it crashed. It now appears that turning shadows to max is the problem, but I don't know why. I'm thinking it's either the card (just bad design, IRQ conflicts maybe...), the driver (these things were a PITA to install, after all...), or maybe just a bad windows (unlikely) or Fable install. I've never had Fable crash with my old 6600LE, but then again I couldn't turn shadows up to max on that thing anyway...

So, the STOP code that turned up this time is the following:

STOP: 0X0000008E (0XC000001D, 0XE371583C, 0XAA9A688C, 0X00000000)

Now, I have no idea what that means, and doing a google search has proved fruitless so far. I need help!

Keep away from it, the 2600xt is capable of outperforms other cards, but give weird and funny problems sometimes... look for other!!!
