Welcome to OCN! That is a nice first overclock.... just keep an eye on your load temps so they don't get too high. Have you tested it for stability yet?

Ive only done short testing for now,
I did a 45min cpu burn in run that ran fine, both cores were at 100%
Temp at load was 48 so it was getting kinda high.
and yes i added extra voltage to the core.
i added an extra .1 volt.

hope this helps

yeah i love it and the best part about building amd, is the cost, u know?
also the 8800gt i got has this little special chip that lets u add voltage through a program, no hardware voltmod needed!

Great OC. I suggest a long ( 12 to 24 hour) orthos run for stability. I've caught failures after 3+ hours (I think it was my memory OC at the time).

I'm curious about the sw overvolt on the 8800gt. Did it make a real difference in the OC? And I noticed cpu-z is misreporting, I think, your GPU-core at 450. Isn't it 600 factory and 720 OC'ed?

Thanks

3.3GHz is a more than decent oc, especially if you 5600 is a recent chip.
