well now I think thats breaking TOS if we tell you how to make an ISO of it...

BUT
If its possible, just pop the disc into the drive, start up the program, and see if the program will run the game from the drive. The PSXC emulator or w/e was able to do this, I wouldnt see why not for the Ps2.

I think you have to connect your PS2 to you PC with an ethernet cable then run some "Software" using an action replay (or may be a game shark)that will do an ISO dump.

I've never seen it done with a PS2 but I've seen it done with a xbox and a 007 game.

Surely not breaking the TOS if I've paid for the game myself, and want to back it up using software I've paid for myself...?

I've tried running it from the drive straight away, but i always get Illegal Operations from the emulator. Same thing also happens when i try and run the ISO i made of the disc. hmph.

you can either play the iso or directly off the DVD as well without making an iso

WHAT? Ummmmm - you dont need to do any of that.

Fine - Ill explain.
Simply stick the PS2 disc into your PC drive. Go download something like Nero or ISOMagic. Then simply rip the disc in ISO format.

yeah, w/e
I didnt want to take the chance even if it was assured it wasnt against TOS

But I did when someone posted an obviously misinformed post that was.... almost insanity.

This is on the border-line of breaking the T.O.S.

Just a heads up
This is the best but you need to dump your own bios. A lot of good games don't work either.

Anyone know what kind of FPS people are getting with PS2 emulation nowadays? Tried one a while back, but it couldn't run any games yet. Worth a try now?
