Yes, lets all rip this kid. All you did for him was spec out a ****ty build of parts on newegg. The kid is not going to be overclocking, and every time something is broken in his computer, do you want him calling and complaining about how much you suck at building computers. Let him tell his sob stories to someone in India.

i may lose a "customer" in the same way,

a wealthier friend got his parents to agree to buy him a computer for 3rd yr university (he needs it though, he's running a pentium-D 820 with integrated graphics)

he came to me to build one for him (i'm doing it for free) but his dad is skeptical and is pushing that he gets a Dell!!!!

i'm going to to to his house with guns blazin'
-(a couple of printed off spec sheets for price/performance comparison)
and tell him what's what, lol
