edit- on that note, you would make 100$ per gtx... building a dream machine, getting paid, and getting something like custom water cooling or a new 24" lcd seems nice.

On that end, if this is against TOS please tell me and i'll promptly remove it.
It is a quad core.

Since when could you run triple monitors off an SLI setup and I was under the impression you could only do triple SLI off of Ultras...

Get one 30" or a Dell 2408WFP.

I think he would prefer one 30" 2560x1600 as opposed to 3x 22" 1680x1050. He'd probably complain that the spaces in between the screen are ugly (lol I know I would).

I guess you could always take all three apart and make a custom "case" to hold all three LCD panels (the internal guts) so that they are literally touching.

I know that, but in terms of performance unless he loves benching, which he obviously doesn't, he will never see a difference in a 1000$ extreme and a 250$ quad.

Cyber Druid, you're killin' me haha - Something about a V2000 Series being "Old School?

I have a V2100 in black. If the 2000 series is old school, I never wanna see the future, lol.

Cheers!

I mean, don't milk TOO Much, but this guy won't need a QX processor.. i mean, just grab him a Q6600, 8gb ram, 3xGTX, a nice looking case.. [considering he's rich, he probably wants one that looks insane.. maybe a side window.. or something.. BUT! I personally owuld get a CyberDruid Custom Case ]

I mean hell, he'll be able to play Crysis easy with Tri-SLI, processor.. he'll never notice the difference. just get a TT 120 and OC it to around 3.4GHz or so, and wha la!

actually, a good idea to boost performance, should run some SSD's if it's not as much as he expected
