Loosing ~2000 points in 3DMark6 - Page 2

The first run without OC'ing the GPU (CPU/RAM was OC'd as in sig) gave results in the low 10000's. After installing Rivatuner and tweaking, things got progressively better up to the 863/~1150 point. It was about the time the CMOS reset that things went downhill. Looks like I need another friggin' XP reload just for S's + G's.

EDIT: The 10750 runs were done 2-3 times to ensure accuracy.

I think I might have an answer to my problem. In CCC, I have the settings on specific settings vs "use application settings." Does anyone think this may be the cause of my issues, forcing AA and the like on an application that does support it (demo version of 3Dmark?) My next issues is now that I thought of all of this, I can't open CCC. I uninstalled everything, used driver cleaner, and reinstalled, using a different versions of the CCC (8.2 and 8.3) and 8.2 and 8.3 drivers, and got errors with CCC. After using system restore, I STILL can't get into CCC. I'm about to reinstall windows for the 4th time in 5-6 weeks. Anyone have ideas?

Have you tried something other than CCC? I don't know if ati tray tools works for your card and OS, but you can control those same settings in ATT vs. CCC. Not a bad shot... Let us know how it goes.

Well, I redid XP like I threatened because I could not get the CCC to work properly. Now everything is smooth for the time being. I set everything to use application settings and am going to leave it there. As for my score, I'm back in the game...

It's obvious that the forced sttings in CCC screwed up how 3dMArk was working, which hurt my scores. After reoing everything and redoing some OC tweaks, I gained about 60 points. Thanks all for the help.

One last sort of related question. As you see on the picture I have my core Oc'd to 860 in Riva Tuner, but GPUZ has it showing 850. Which one is right? I know if I take it down to 851 in Riva, GPUZ will still show 850, but if I take it to 850, GPUZ shows something like 841. What's up with this?
