E4500 won't overclock

I have a ASUS p5vd2-se vm and i can't access FSB or Clock Multiplyer in Bios. I don't know of anyways of getting around this so help would be much appreciated

That motherboard has integrated graphics. So it is not the type of board that is meant to be overclocked. That is probably why you don't see the options in the bios.

an asus that won't overclock??? thats just not right... thats like giving someone a Ferrari and telling them they can't drive it.

I would try the BSEL Mod. It will make your CPU run at 266 FSB without effecting the other components.:





I did the 333 BSEL mod on my E6600 to test it out. I used copper tape used for motherboard trace repair, which I picked up at Frys. This pic is only to show the copper tape. The BSEL mod is for the 333 FSB mod. You can however do the 266 and the 333 mod if your chip will run that high on stock vcore.
