Good! Now they just need to make it where it automatically restarts after the update is installed.

I paid for my software, and if you don't want to spend $$$ on vista, learn to use linux.

So does this make the OS unusable if it's pirated, or does it only give "warnings" that it's illegal?

Why, because everyone who uses vista is supposed to like it?

In my experience, virtually everyone who gives vague bashes with nothing to back it up hasn't used Vista. If you have and don't like it, fine, but bashing something with no experience of it is silly.

I agree 100%, but I certainly don't like the attitude some people have and how they think that everyone who uses vista should like it.

Yeah well this thread is about a patch that protects against pirated copies of vista.....

So it's people complaining because it's harder to get away with pirating it(Vista).. which is a total fail-esque topic to complain about over. (**** os costs moniez ?!?!?! ***zz!!)

Vista Home Premium For system builders @ 129.99 1 year ago was a heck of a deal.. has ran PERFECT ever since

I believe SP1 is out already.. plus that reg hack didn't give you a borked copy, I think it was the version Microsoft gave to the OEMs. (might be wrong) I installed it using the registry and I'm good.
