GA-P35-DS3L Bios Update

Thread Starter
I know there's a big thread specifically for this board, but there's 161 pages, and I don't know if I'd ever find what I needed. I just updated from F7 to F8a in hopes that I'd get more accurate temperature readings from my e8400, so I used the @BIOS utility to update it from Win XP32. Everything went fine, but the temperature readings didn't change, and now it seems as though my motherboard is making my HSF run at max speed, instead of controlling it according to temperatures. I have a zerotherm Nirvana. Should I just reinstall F7, or can I fix this?

Alright, well I stopped the fan from furiously running by using the "i-cool" app that came with the mobo. I installed it purely out of curiosity so I figured I'd check it out, and as soon as i opened it and hit "auto" it slowed it down. However, I still don't know whether to go back to F7 or not, I didn't get what I wanted from installing this one, and it's a beta...
