Free XP themes - where to get them?

Many of the theme sites I find require you to have StyleXP, which you either pay for, or have as a 30-day trial.

Are there free alternatives, or are there ways to install skins/themes without extra software?

You can download Alienware GUIse and then download other themes to use with it. That's what I've been using since Crystal XP corrupted windows and I had to reformat.

I use the UXTheme patch method.

Quote:
Uxtheme Multi-patcher will allow you to use any 3rd party msstyle theme on Windows XP/SP1/SP2 or Windows Server 2003 (with Themes enabled) just by patching the uxtheme.dll (dynamic link library).
http://www.softpedia.com/get/System/...iPatcher.shtml

Then get themes from DeviantART.

I would very much recommend WindowBlinds.. Even though you have to pay for it.. it is a GREAT theme program. I am using it on all my computers.
