20k with SLI GTX's? - Page 6

With the gtx's, my main gripe was the heat. My cpu temps were around 10 degrees warmer than that of my gt's. Downgrading to the gt's allowed me to overclock my processor farther while allowing me to stay on air.
When one part's heat is effecting another inside a case - better case cooling may be required. Get yourself more/better case fans and you'll be more likely to see the maximum potential.

PS: The great thing is case fans are relatively inexpensive parts.

i think my case is up to snuff with 5 100 cfm fans. in an antec 900. my tuniq is lapped as well as my processor. Without a grpahics card (a real one anyways) my load temps @ 3.6 @ 1.425 vcore are like 42c. With two gt's like 50 and with two gtx's around 60.

I got 10,000 Ish with an 8800GT with a mild OC and my X2 4400+ @2.9GHz

So 11,500 with a GTX N a Quad is epic fail
