In, Im kinda of new to over clocking, I currently have the q6600 at 3.4 I can take it to 3.6 No problem, however when im at 3.4 I idle at about 37-39 and when at 3.6 at 39-42, load on both are around 59-62. I have never over clocked Mem, so I let my board do that for me, My question is really, How much of a Difference would it make if I lapped my heat sink, I Manually set the CPu Voltage to 1.35V and it runs fine, however everything else is AUTO, any suggestions would be great.

Here are my specs, (if anyone knows how to overclock mem please feel free)
