Looking at a Kandalf, can you reccommend simmilar or better ?

I'm looking into the Thermaltake Kandalf (VD4000BWS).

Its $285 CDN. My limit i'd say is $300.

I'm interested in a nice LCS and I found the Kandalf, before I buy it, can someone give me the AOK on it or recomend something better?

Preferably something I can pick up in store. Check www.canadacomputers.com for their stock. This is where I would most likley go. (I'd rather not order due to shipping costs.)

I'm looking for,

AMAZING! cooling (I.E LCS)
a HDD caddy where cables do NOT! come out the side.
and a NICE look, NO PLASTIC OR CHEEP FLIMSY METAL !!!, I want a nice sturdy case.
Nice big window !

and anything else you guys think I should look for.

THANKS GUYS !, glad to know I can come somewhere nice for advice !

Hmm, you don't seem to be using the Liquid Cooling it comes with, might I ask why is that ?

Because it sucks (Well that not true, but you can get much better for your money). If you wan LCS get a good chassi like Kandalf/Armor or Mozart and buy some LCS gear.

BTW my Kandalf is not the LCS edition.

The LCS has a different front door.

Kandalf

LCS

I advise the Kandalf, and if your current cooling solution isn't enough. Use the money you saved by upgrading it. Honestly, the LCS has had some bad reviews about it's cooling. Some users may have had good experiences but others haven't. No point in buying WC unless it is a custom kit. Thermaltake are known to do bad WC kits.

I too was hoping to get a Kandalf, the best looking case out IMHO. Only thing that beats it is a mod CD did a year back, but i can't remember the name now.

Although, i wouldn't say it is the best price/performance.

Have you not looked into the Antec P182? Really nice case. And a hell of a lot cheaper than a Kandalf.

Antec P182

It has pre-drilled holes with grommets in the rear for WC tubing. Just in case you ever go WC.

My bro has one and they are cheap, good build and look stunning.
