Does ANYONE have this exact 5000 BE CPU?

ADO5000IAA5DS
NAA9G 0746DPOW

After talking with AMD and Corsair for the last two weeks on and off...I'm beginning to suspect that the NAA9G 5000 BE is a CPU to avoid....ASUS and Corsair were very helpful and took the time to help me analyze this apparent 3ghz vcore wall on this EXACT CPU...the one with the NAA9G.....SO I'd like to know if ANYONE on these forums has this EXACT CPU

ADO5000IAA5DS
NAA9G 0746DPOW

The 0746 part makes no difference

The CPU I'm trying to find out if any1 has is:

ADO5000IAA5DS
NAA9G 0746DPOW

Only the italicized AND bolded parts are important...especially the bolded portion!

Thx in advance...you guys are great

Sorry, I can't find the notes on my 5000+ stepping,

Got it, mine is an IAA5D, sorry, I'm still no help on this one

BTW, have you tried upping the SB voltage, it does get hungry!
What Async, Trfc and Trc have you tried?
Async: 6-9 try 8
Trfc 105 or 127.5
Trc 22-26 All seemed to work fine but which is more efficient is another thing.

Ghot, here is a guy on AMDGeeks.net who got his up to 3.1Ghz with a NAA9G: http://www.amdgeeks.net/overclock/645. Remember nothing is ever guaranteed when it comes to overclocking. Their could be several things that might be holding you back.

Hope this helps

Can't add anything more than that, actually.

But thlnk3r is also right that something else might be holding you back. Have you done your OC methodically to find your individual subsystems' maximum potentials (CPU, Motherboard HTT, RAM)?

Your other components (PSU, for example), or maybe even software, can affect your OC.

Lots of factors involved, and therefore, lots of analysis.

Did you try a higher HT, they seem to like the 1200ish to 1300ish range on some MBs. Mine ran stable up to the low 1400 range fine in the Crosshair.

i don't think it's the cpu man, i think it's just the way ocing is, sometimes you get a lemon, i want you to know that i have the same stepping as you, and i've got probably the fasted 5000 here at 3.58-not quite stable only 6 hours prime then a crash, but i'm working on that.
