need a new power supply??

Thread Starter
well I was just wondering if my PC P&C 750W silencer will run ok for my current system with :

Q6600 G0
EVGA 780i
2x 8800GT
1x RaptorX
2x SATA hard drives
3x MCP355
3x non led fans
5x led fans

I used this power supply calculator http://extreme.outervision.com/PSUEngine

and is said I needed 591W

everywhere i have seen it says to add 30% to that if that is so I would come out with 768W well i was just wondering if the 750W silencer will do

Yep. Your PSU will kick ass just fine.

Wait, what the hell are 3xMCP355's for?

I know they are pumps, was just curious what you needed 3 of them for.

Aye, spent 269$ for my SS...and its got crappy single-rail amperage (35A...says 70A combined, but thats not very helpful).

It should be fine. A loaded rig with typical air cooling and GT SLI requires 500W and 30A on 12v rails. So, the 250W should cover your pumps.
