I just recentley purchased a samsung 2253 bw, and I'm tired of all the problems with this older ati card so I'm looking for the best videocard for 1680x1050 res.

I'd point in the direction of the GTS, my old GT struggled ever so slightly with 1680x1050.

But its still an excellent card.

And I'm currently using an HD3870 and it rocks 1680x1050 nicely. But just like the GT, its nothing amazing.

Yes. Thrid to 8800GT. It is very cheap now. Or even this $160

if you won't mind the MIR.
