Where to place 360 Rad . . .

Hey guys, im wondering where i would put a 360 Rad in me thermaltake shark

I am thinking having it on the top, but theres one problem...

If i have it on the top, i wont be able to place a fan where the PSU is, although the rad will only be about 3cm from the PSU, so im thinking it'll still stuck air through?

The lollypop stick is where the Rad will come down to

Think it would work well?

DIMENSIONS
Width 133 mm
Height 397 mm
Thickness 29.60 mm

So it would just about fit on the top

I'd have 3 holes in the top then the rad then the fans underneath [Sucking air in from the top, through the 3 holes

---Hole---Hole---Hole
---rad----rad----rad
---psu---fan-----fan

Also

Is it a bad thing to have my Rad at the top of my loop? my fillport would be lower than it...will it cause filling troubles/getting air out of the system

Thanks

Shizzle that would be bad... Nah radboxes look fugly, i want this to look neat

I think a 240 Rad wouldnt NOT BE enough for a Q6600/8800GT

I'd try PM'ing Ira-k because I wouldn't know, But I figure you'd need at least a 360.

LOL, my bad

Well.... What I'll be doing to my future rig is that I'm going to make a custom encloser for a 360, or two idk, to make it styleish, your call anyways.

I don't think so, although you'd need to fill/bleed it with the case on it's side or something.

I've never gotten anything about compliments on my radbox. The radiator hanging on the back just makes it look pretty badass really. Just keep in mind, the idea behind watercooling is performance generally. You start running the hot air from your case through the rad it kinda defeats the purpose if you ask me.

I think it looks nice with the radbox, but even if it looked ugly as crap I would still take the performance over looks any day

it may fit the back...

main problem with the TT shark is its quite a short case = not much room.

best thing you could do would probably be to mount it on top or on the back. if it goes ontop you would either need to raise it off, or cut holes in your case to let it get air.

that all said, best person to pm would be ira-k

---RAD---RAD---RAD
---FAN---FAN---FAN
--Case---Case--Case-

Obviously the case would have holes in

The fans would be sucking air up from the case and out the top

Only problem being the PSU Fan sucks air in

I could turn it upside down maybe?

Edit: Bleh still the problem of having the rad @ the top
