To the OP:
I would personally go for the Radeon 9xxx series. Much faster cards compared to the GeForce FX 5 series. I personally run a Radeon 9500PRO 128MB AGP card in my HTPC rig....runs absolutely great...even in Vista. Keep in mind, I'm also on a CRT TV, and its just playing divx material.

Too late, had bought it and tried it with the tv, it's not that bad, just that my uncle's tv sucks so it looks ugly. But it works right.
