Not sure why it was deleted. I think the title might have been off.... but I believe ericoed, if I remember correctly, was the original poster, so thank you to him.

Anyways, this is the OEM version of the Creative X-Fi Xtrememusic Sound Card

$36.99
- $3.70 (with 10% off code SLICKDEALS)

lol yes i was wondering why too...
As for the question that I raised up...
I found this from another forum and he/she said this info. Is it true?

How NOT to buy a crappy OEM X-Fi?
Buying OEM X-Fi benefits you paying less cash by getting card from the third part corp as it's more expensive purchasing a Creative official one but you gotta keep your eyes open when click to pay with your SOLO card (UK national debit card, lol. You all use credit card as well)...I suggest you buy any one such as DELL OEM BUT HP OEM X-Fi because HP OEM X-Fi is modified Xtrememusic SB0670 in other word, it is NOT a normal X-Fi as difference and shortcoming of this card are
1, layout of capacitors are differ
2, 2 chips omitted on the right of PCB
3, no pinout on the right of PCB due to lower cost
4, one capacitor which is on the right of PCB is replaced by a 4-pin-connector...we think it's Panel Interface...To be verified...
5, no front panel, no jack...it's pointless to mod it to Creative official X-Fi Xtrememusic with hardmod or softmod due to design of the PCB is different from an official one
We can't be sure if this soundcard works stable after using any modded drivers or hardmodding it. take look at pictures.

So is this still a decent card if I'm not planning on modding it?

On second thought I would really like to mod this thing. It is such a good deal though i might be able to give that up.

That card is a HP oem X-Fi (670)
I had the Dell oem X-FI (467) before I found a retail card (Exteme Music). you see them new on ebay for like $50-80.

Easy way to tell if it's HP or Dell:
10pin Creative propriety connector at top left side of card
Dell's is black
HP's is white

how about the drivers? does the drivers from creative site also work for this?

So, ????

What pinout on the right. No front panel jack on the right? Not useful since it only works with creative's panel.

Yes, the creative drivers will work. New ones were just released the other day. Inside, it's the same card.
