The man overwrites his deletions ~50 times every single time he deletes ANYTHING. I doubt he's hiding anything, but it freaks me out.

But on that note, for those of you who share my enjoyment, what software do you all use?

I do all of the above believe it or not, I am a maintenance whore when it comes to my computers, I keep them in tip top shape so they run fast like I do. This keeps reformatting down for me. I clean everyone of my computers out every 2-3 weeks, is that excessive? lol

Progams that I constantly run/check
AVG
Adaware
DiskKeeper
CCleaner
Eraser
SB S&D
SpeedFan
ASUS PC Probe

Jeebus. That's obsessive big time.

I have never used the overwriting stuff.. I don't keep anything sensitive on my sig rig. Keep all that on my laptop.

Unfortunately i do not have any of this.

I have a desk fan blowing into my PC (which in turns shoves a lot of a dust in there) And i haven't cleaned it in 6 months. I haven't even dusted my PC in 6 months.

Same with my WC, i haven't changed that since i bought it six months ago, but that's mainly because i can't exactly afford it right now.

All in all my rig is running exactly the same as it was 6 months ago, dust isn't a big thing for my as i never look at my PC much.

Aren't some of those redundant?
If I reformatted every 2 weeks I'd care less about Viruses. A nasty virus just means a reformat anyways.

I run CCleaner more than I should and JK Defrag maybe once or twice a week.
I don't use Antivirus.

Yes!
I obsess with:
Having atleast 36GB of space on my C drive (have no clue why)

I used to use Auslogics Disk Defrag, but now I use PerfectDisk

PerfectDisk takes a long time for me. It always slows down more on games.
But it is really good

I also have an obsession with keeping my processes down to like 38-42 max.
I run CCleaner for registry cleaning.

And diskcleaup!
Because I love compacting old files and gaining space >
to add to my space over 36GB obsession.

Oh man I was about a year or 2 ago. I'd open and work on my rig probably 1-2 times a day. Cleaning, rearranging, cable management, customizing wiring and all that.
