Well the reason I wanted to wait for a graphics card if because I thought it would be too expensive to get everything at once... I figured it would be best to split it up and get better hardware over a longer period of time. I can deal with my current graphics card.

this makes more sense to me because I only have a part time job and it would take me a while to save up. Because of this... I would rather get stuff that can last a while before they get out of date...

I am thinking I will go with what Wire said. I have always been planning on getting the SLI 8800 anyway.

Now my question is... what should I start with? Could I get the card and have that much of a better system until I can afford the whole new cpu and motherboard? Or would it be best to get the reverse (cpu and motherboard) and keep using my current card until I can get the new one?
