You're supposed to ignore Tis I anyways.

Wonder what the card would be like after 1-2 hours of gaming?

Now if only they'd give use some benchmarks with Crysis at High or Very High.
Which is exactly why i'm getting rather angry at these benchmark noobs pissing about with h/w they have no idea how to test properly.

Ie; You do not run a GPU aimed at the high end of the market in Crysis @ Medium settings, that's just defeats the object of the card entirely.

Those tests are a little silly, most of those gains (namely Cinebench & 3D06) are heavily CPU bound. And it's in those tests only where CPU overclocking shines.

Secondly, if they ran those games again with the GPU OC'd and CPU back to 3Ghz they would see conclusively that CPU speed does nothing in games @ resolutions as high as 1920x1200. I myself have tested my Quad @ 2.4Ghz and 3.3Ghz and there was no gain in frame rate what so ever. Even tests around the web showing a QX9650 @ 4Ghz shows only 1FPS gains only helped by the larger L2 cache.

Anyone reading the forum will realize that it wasn't you I was quoting. Nonetheless, I will remove your name, and don't call me a satan worshipper. That statement couldn't be farther from the truth. It is my gaming ID and leave it at that!

Thought that it was a username since when I googled that word, nothing came up

Anyway, I try to keep myself informed on certain areas that interest me and then share them with others if they would be to use for others too.

Well I do agree, CPU's are the primary bottleneck. I get 19k with my setup, and when I did that score I only OC'ed my video cards to get about 60 pts or some small amount. So at all stock I was getting 10k, but by taking the cpu from 2.4 to 3.6, I got a little below 19k.

That is dissappointing that the E8xxx aren't helping much either. So I guess if these cards are a little below two GTS', then that isn't good, but the fact that you could use them in SLI will surely make up for it, just so long as the increase in performance is good enough, and that is what we all still need to wait and see.
