ok here is everything, slot 1 and 2 are identical for memory and slot 3 and 4 are also.

I have noticed whenever I go anything above my current cpu speed If I try and restart my computer It just wont do it... I have to push the button on the pc to turn it off and on and then it works just fine, but it wont shut off or restart through windows. It is a fresh windows install to. but at the current cpu speed it works just fine. I tried 3.4 ghz for a while but then the computer would restart on its own after and get a blue screen right when it shuts off but its to fast to see what it says.

The more core clocks the better!! RAM clocks don't usually make a difference and the RAM speed will increase with the CPU speed so downclock the RAM and upclock the CPU as much as possible. Once you've reached your CPU limit then try to get the RAM up to par so you can get everything possible out of it.

Knowing the information for a BSOD isn't all that important since your overclocking you can usually get the issue right away. Raise the voltage keep the HT links under 2000mhz (effective, it will read as 1000mhz.)

Iggster, your overclock is looking great so far. I'd recommend putting your memory on a divider while you attempt to OC processor. Your currently above the stock frequency with your memory and that may cause instability issues.
You could also try keeping your HT speeds between 1200-1400mhz. AM2 processors apparently OC well between those speeds.

Good luck

ok guys thanks! turns out the memory was making my system unstable... I am now up to 3.417 ghz stable.... I did some testing though. Not messing with anything as far as cpu speeds and just dropping the speed on the ram I lost 300 points in 3dmark06. So I am guessing with some good quality memory and 3.417ghz my 3d score is gonna be insane and I might be able to overclock to 3.5 so far the temps are the same to!

Iggster, awesome OC man! +1

What kind of stability tests did you perform at 3417mhz?

Great work

Wasting away, he probably means he's had his processor at those speeds. Looks like a suicide OC. That is my guess. Not sure if it's stable or not...we would need screenshots for that

Man today was a so confusing day for me.... I bought some ddr2 800 memory poped her in and bam I drop 1000 points in 3dmark also unstable, I had to reset the bios like 10 times at least today... So I decided to start fresh at 3.0 ghz and bam it tested better then ever before... So I am starting fresh and overclocking slowly... So far 3.36 ghz stable. I am sure I can hit 3.4 but my girl needs to use the computer tomorrow so I am just gonna leave it where its at for now.
