What do you like about a Full tower? (having one or planning to get one)

Well, I just browsed this forum and I am glad I did, cause I saw a deal going on at BestBuy on the Rocketfish case (a lian-li A71), I was kinda skeptic about it, since rocketfish was a blow. I bought the FULL tower case, and moved all my parts to the new home, but the case made my regular ATX mobo look small.... lol

What do you like about a full tower?

I am running SLI and without a full tower case my bottom card is 8-10 degrees hotter than the top, also a bugger to do any decent cable management... Ordered a new case this weekend so I won't have that problem for long. Nice purchase, those Rocketfish cases are a great deal. I tried to find one at bestbuy.ca with no luck so seems like that deal is exclusive to the USA.

Most people will like the added space, naturally. More room to work with if you wanted to go water cooling. More racks to add more hard drives if you need them. Usually with full towers there is better air cooling so keeps the overclock higher. The cases I tend to like are full towers, just something about it.

I am really wishing the Antec 900 was full tower. Its really hard when it comes time to remove/add/fiddle with hardware when your case is only slightly larger than a shoebox.'

Lots of modern full tower cases include removable motherboard trays, which, after my antec 900 experience, I will not go without. A full tower case has lots of room for air to get in/between components. And a (good) full tower case generally has pretty decent cable management options.

The main things i love about full tower cases are
1. TONS OF ROOM
2. Better airflow in some cases.
3. In my opinion its easier for cable management.
4. Sli/crossfire is a very easy fit.
5. great for watercooling.

When i won my full tower case i loved it, i am never going back to standard.

Yeah, when I ditch my modded Antec 900, it will be the last midtower case I own. I almost got a CM 830 a couple months ago.

Yea, the rocketfish was a good deal, the people at bestbuy in my area, didnt know it was marked for 71$ they had thought it was a mistake, but the manager said, yea its 71$ so it was pretty cool buy. this is my 1st full tower, and I am enjoying it, all the drive bays that are given is crazy, most of my stuff that I will ever put is a Fan controller, 1 lightscribe DVD and a card reader lol. If I can figure anything to put in, tell me..

I like my full tower because of one reason:

ROOM. I hate having little room. You can do oh so much with all the room, plus it looks all godly, my friends are like WHY IS IT SO HUGE!? I'm just like: It has to hold all that power!
