Why does he get paid to plug **** in and run tests?

lol because he does more than that. he has enough knowledge to do some pretty intensive volt mods, he uses LN2 like the pro he is, and he is well known so he makes EVGA look good when he gets records with their products.

true, but the record was volt modded wasn't it? this was run at stock voltages so most likely both setups have alot of room left.

Why is everyone doggin' on this guy for getting some parts fronted to him for testing purposes?

There is ALOT more to running a setup like this than just plugging **** in and running it

When your dealing with -100 there are all sorts of volt mods and setting up that must take place before you actually start dumping the LN2 in. Not to mention that setting up the lugs can be a he11 of a job in and of itself, let alone making a lug for a dual GPU graphics card (thats on 2 pcbs no less). How much liquid nitrogen to poor in at certain times so it doesnt evaporate off too quick but not quick enough. You rarely get more than ONE run most of the time with setups like this so you have to have things down to a science when it comes to getting a successful run out of it.

Most of us will never know what it takes to truly run an LN2 setup, even for a few minutes.

Give this guy some credit...what he does is pretty cool.

True indeed, but it has got to the point of being "sad".

These settings are impossible to run in real world situations so the only reason for them is to give a company the "worlds most powerful" title.

Tbh... Farplay to the guy for getting paid to doing what he loves which is very difficult.

But doing it for a living is kinda sad.

Are you refering to the current record on Orb? It was set with 2 3870X2s, this is only one GX2.
