Its the best choice if your not going to use SLI.

Not sure on crossfire support though.

If you want to crossfire, otherwise you're P35 is a better option as it overclocks better than an X38.

I've spent quite a bit of time lately looking at x38 and p35.

if you want crossfire then get x38 if not get p35

Your board is a great board. I would keep it until you switch to 32nm Nahalem in Q1 2009. It will require a new board as the socket will change.

As for the video card support, NVIDIA will not give Intel the licence to run SLI, so Intel chipset dual video card boards will only run ATI in crossfire.

Nehalem is 45nm, dude.

The dye-shrink of Nehalem, called Westmere, is 32nm, but there's no way it will be released Q1 2009.
