Memory module maker G.Skill International Enterprise has now introduced a new 2GB kit to its DDR3 product portfolio. The DDR3-1800 HZ series kit consists of two 1GB DDR3 memory modules which are set to work at a frequency of 1800 MHz with latencies set to 7-7-7-18.

Aimed at gaming systems and workstations, the new kit comes bundled with two Antazone RamMod coolers, one for each module. The RamMod coolers fit just over the heatsink-equipped modules and are equipped with fans that go at 7500±10%RPM. With a 'life span' of 70,000 hours, the fans are said to have a noise output of 20dBA, but we wouldn't really bet on them being that quiet.

The new DDR3-1800 kit has a lifetime warranty and is expected to hit the stores soon.

Nice coolers!

I bet that moving my hand in front of the memory will cool it better than this fan and generate less noise.Come on 9mm fans on a plastic frame?Pfft

I totally agree, that cooler can possibly do anything other than look ridiculous. On the subject of the RAM itself I bet it is pretty damn good stuff being G.Skill and all.
