Okay guys keep this in mind.

-Service Pack 1 resets superfetch so the optimizations take place, just give it a couple days
-Service Pack 1 makes it so it reads all 4gigs of your RAM, but that does NOT mean it will use it all. To use it all, you need a 64bit OS.
-Even though they made tons of changes, the main differences you will find for the end user is mostly HDD-based, so if you transfer things from harddrive to harddrive you'll notice a difference in speed.

Cheers.
You are losing it!

If you are one of the masses, you will see it on WU in about a month as a Recommended update and it will install at 3am (or whenever you have it set to install). The masses would never have gotten RC1 because you had to dl a registry tweak to get it.

Hey guys, I downloaded the RTM a month ago. Today, when I check for updates, it says that "windows could not search for updates". My current time is correct. What gives, do I have to uninstall the RTM and redownload??

Plz hlp.

EDIT: Never mind...
