Ideas on a CPU fan: help please!

Thread Starter
So here is my issue:
Im trying to overclock my q6600 GO to 3.4 ghz. When over clocking it, i get these temps: cpu0:60c
cpu1:61c
cpu2:55c
cpu3:54c

When i run prime95 on it for 30 minutes, i get these temps:

cpu0:89c
cpu1:86c
cpu2:72c
cpu3:73c

So now im thinking i should have a stronger fan on the cpu. Does anyone reccomend a good fan that will drop these temps because i feel like this is too high! Also does anyone think that maybe i shouldnt push the cpu that high due to those temps?

Wow those temps are high. The TRUE is an excellent cooler, top of the line. Make sure when you get your new HSF you follow the guide on applying your thermal paste.

I load 57-60 @ 1,45v with a TT...

EDIT: You have stock cooler?

Get a TRUE or a TT.

Those temperatures are way too high. Until you get a better cooler, do not overclock, especially on a quad core.
