[Crave]MD says Net addiction really is a mental illness - Page 2

I started really using a computer a lot in high school... I'd say I probably did and do spend too much time on it, but I'm also more physically active and get better grades than most of my peers

Addicted and proud

QFT! Now drug addiction and alcohol addiction are real, there's a very real physical/chemical reason for that, all these other addictions are BS though. Internet addiction, videogame addiction, shopping addiction, all that kinda stuff is all the same thing, just an unhealthy activity that is simply a symptom of some other mental illness. Cure the mental illness and the "addiction" goes away, cure internet addiction or videogame addiction and guess what, the mental illness is still there and will surface in some other unhealthy activity.
