hi everyone , i have a cable internet no router , no modem , can i share this connection with another computer with just a hub i have , any suggestions ... Thanks in advance

You have a box that takes the coaxial cable and turns it into ethernet, correct? (That a modem )

You will need a router to hook more than 1 thing up. Not sure if a hub will work, i've never used one.

Some cablemodems only allow you to connect a single device to it (single MAC address), like Comcast.

Other ISPs might allow you more, but I don't know what ISP you have.

If that's the case, you cannot share your connection without a router.

i use 24 online client from cyberoam ... can i share using just a hub ... if yes how to share the ip i've ... normal settings seems unaffecting for sharing internet
