Help... Did I damage my parts? Mobo? CPU? Memory?

Guys I just came home today from work and I got my new side panel for cooler master stacker case... So when I took it off of the box i got a big shock, eletrical shock.

So I was looking over it and everything to see what they did and everything and I forgot about it... so I went to put on my computer to see how it will look, I mount it to the computer looked nice, so as I'm still working on it I didnot have the top on, so I grab the top part and put it on, when i moved the top like try to fit it right I got this big sound of sparkle.... like it just got another shock not on me this time put sounded like it went from top to the bottom...

I have my psu mobo cpu memory mounted to it and im afraid i damage any parts by this, I cannot test it because i dont have any cooler method right now as Im trying to set up a water cooling pc...

What are the chances you guys think of my parts being damage?

Thanks in advance....

Made...

Having a hard time understanding what exactly happened, no offense

Any sign on electrical shock or sparks or any static sounds period is a very bad sign..

Any of the above will damage parts and the damage might not be noticable at first, but it could just lower the lifetime of the parts.

Thats it... the sound of static, but I didnot touch any part just the case it self... but how the mobo and the case are linked by the screws im worried...

When I put the top cover from my case, I heard a sound of 2 - 3 seconds maybe of static shock.... so Im really worried... it sound that went trhought the entire case....

and its no way I can test it unless I can run my mobo for short period of time without cooling...

EDIT: If anything happened how bad it could be? could it affect all the parts?

thanks please post back.. let me know what should I be wating =/

Did u check if the capacitors on your motherboard have shorted ? . Check if the top of you capacitors if u look closely u should see a black tinge on the 3 ridges on top of the capacitor.

I give you a 50 \\ 50 chance of everything still working fine.

1. If you grounded to the case it may be fine.
2. #1 Would be true if your house wiring is proper.
3. If its cold there and you do not have a humidifier the air is dry due to the furnace and static is more common.

I don't think anyone is going to be able to help you until you actually bite the bullet and power your rig up.
