Purely speculative, but I still think with a standard D5 the 5.5 or 6.3mm nozzle would do the best and that you really need to be running dual pumps or and Iwaki to make the 4.5 do well.

The 3.5mm nozzle is just plain murder on flow rate, I doubt it's ever ideal unless it's a really strong pump and a single core processor.

I also think there is a big difference between dual core and quads. The nozzles help the most at the center of the pin matrix, but hurt velocities of the pins at the exterior. So really small is really not good for quads.

Anyhow...only way to know what best for your particular setup.....Try it out!

My vote is still the 5.5 for a C2D and D5/DDC pump and the quad nozzle for quads. But maybe the quad would do well for a C2D as well??
mmm, I wonder how the quad nozzle performs on a quad that's mounted 90° off... (like I just found out mine was, LOL) compared to a properly mounted one. Guess that's why my temps aren't too great. ~50-52 folding, ambient at 21-22°C, idles at like 40-42 ish.

I'm really too lazy to just open up the loop to just change that lol. Guess it'll have to be done in a couple months when I have some more time.
