My 9800gx2 Bench marks.. - Page 15

with a P35 mobo... 9800gx2 is a great buy for me. My Q6600 hits 3.6ghz easy on air, I would guess 17k is well within reach.

You people shouldn't use results from people like kingpin for comparisons.

That cannot be used for anything, its a suicide run for the purpose of trying to get a world record only.

When people on here start benching, thats when the real comparison starts.

using the CSS Benchmark tool I get around 230 FPS average... lowest it goes is like 130, then runs all the way to 560 for a quick sec at the end...

removing the 300fps cap did alot for the benchmark, went from 180 to +220
IMHO, it's pointless to not have vsync on. It keeps your card running cooler and will give you as many FPS as your monitor can refresh. Theres really no point in having ~300 FPS when your monitor can only show 75 of them.

I get 294 out of 300 in the css stress test, so I'm sure his gets the max.
Change the fps max in console by typing fps_max 600 or something

Impressive, btw ScoobySnack you can run Quad SLI with the existing drivers it was tested in the news section, unfortunately only few games see gains as it's not the true Quad SLI driver, but Crysis shows a big jump none the less.

Run Crysis with Quad SLI, i wanna see what it scores compared to the test in the news section.

I'll be ordering my cards tomorrow when i finally make up my mind on what model i'm going for. lol Sadly i'll be using a 3Ghz Quad for a few more weeks, until i change the chip for something more potent. Probably a Q6600 GO. I wish i could afford a QX9650.....but i can't.
