Strange Error With GB P35 DS3L

Thread Starter
Everything seems fine until i reseat my HSF then i boot up into windows. All of the sudden the resolution in 4BIt and i can't even raise it up ..... the display screen looks messy. One more thing, when i press the button the system goes on and off right a way THEN it quickly restarts and log on to windows (normally) but the resolution is in 4bit?

Double check your gfx card and make sure its seated properly, also make sure your vga cable is secure on the back end of the card.

If you have extra Thermal Interface Material (Shin Etsu, Arctic Silver...) clean off your heatsink and cpu with a coffee filter and rubbing alcohol (99% isopropyl is the best) and re-apply your TIM and heatsink. This guide from Arctic Silver can be used as a reference for applying the TIM, no matter the brand.

Post back if you're still having troubles.
