Xbox 360 Controller driver HELP please

Thread Starter
As stated, I need a driver for Vista 32bit...

I have tried a few and they say they are installed and working but I cannot use the controller in games....

I have a Elite 360 wireless controller with a Plug and play usb wire.
I cannot figure out why this isn't working....

All help will be greatly appreciated.

http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/gaming/download.mspx

try that to download the vista drivers

after the driver is installed the 1 green light should be on and solid and it should also show if in the game controllers under the control panel and then to play in games like cod4 where the controller is not compatible use xpadder to configure it.

PLUG AND PLAY DOES NOT WORK! The only reason plug-and-play cords work for the 360 is they power the thing, then send the Data WIRELESSLY to the 360. When you connect it to the PC, you get power yes, but you would need a Wireless adapter to get it to work. If you want to use Plug and play, go get a wired. I love mine.
