Xbox 360 Controller driver HELP please - Page 2

Don't argue with me. You mean this thing, right?

It's called the Play and CHARGE kit.

Straight from the Instruction manual:
Quote:
Play While You Charge
You can continue to use your controller to play on your Xbox 360 console while it charges.
While connected with the charge cable, your controller will continue to use wireless signals
for gameplay.
It just beeps because SOMETHING is connected.

So, even though I posted the reason from MICROSOFT THEMSELVES, you refuse to believe me? I am not puzzled. You are.

THERE IS NO WAY TO USE WIRELESS CONTROLLERS ON PC WITH OUT BUYING THE $30 DOLLAR WIRELESS ADAPTER!

I have to agree with corporalaris on this one. It's not an issue of "who's right and who's wrong."

Connecting the play and charge wire to a wireless controller does not allow it to communicate to your pc via the wire.

looks like you will have to get the wireless adapter if you want it to work at all.

About my reply earlier- I though he had the wireless adapter. To get my wireless adapter to work, I had to first plug in a wired controller. I didnt realize he was using the charging cable.
