Well since im just about call it a nite with trying to overclock my X2 4600 to about 2.7, or greater if possible. I am opening up this thread to see if any of you PRO's would like to give me some suggestions I'm all ears (eyes). Just to get me started in the right direction. Since i dont want to brick my rig.

This should get you started:
http://www.overclock.net/amd-general...ing-guide.html

I have no experience with ECS bios so hopefully someone else can help with any questions there.

edit: Keep cpu load temps under 55C or so and you shouldn't be going over 1.50V, 1.55V at the most, for the CPU since you are new to this. You will hit a wall were no amount of increased voltage will get the cpu to run faster or at least there are diminishing returns. For example if you can get 2.7ghz with 1.45V and then to get to 2.75ghz you need 1.55V, just run it at 2.7ghz. That last little bit isn't worth it.

Well I still have my DFI NF4 Sli Dr board, I think one of the transistors burnt out so I'm stuck with using the ECS For Free. hehe
