RAM dead twice now.

Thread Starter
My ram went out in 3 months first go round, So I bought almost exactly the same sticks and they went out around 2-3 months aswell. Second set went out after Windows failed to shutdown and I had to manually shutdown via reset button.

First sticks I had up to 1200mhz stable with CPU at 3.2ghz. They crashed quite often after a month. Im guessing they werent completely stable.

Second sticks were at 1067, with Cpu at 3.6ghz. Didnt play many games so no crashes that I know of.

Any thoughts??

Possibly a heat issue killing the sticks slowly, your not over volting the ram are you? and you still get errors with stock speeds and stock voltages?

I'm thinking the mobo or PSU ... maybe both?

I doubt you've had two bad kits in a row.

I will say that there has been a HUGE increase in threads on OCN reporting the Ballistix kits just crapping out for no reason.

Are these single or dual sided BTW?
